Sendy Mojica is a Dominican-born, faith-driven mortgage loan officer based in Houston, Texas, with a passion for empowering underserved communities—especially Hispanic families—on their journey to homeownership. With over a decade of experience across all stages of the mortgage process, including origination, servicing, and loss mitigation, Sendy brings deep industry knowledge and personal dedication to every client she serves.

She holds a Master’s Degree in International Business and has previously served in key financial roles, including with the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights and Bank of America’s Government Banking division. Her transition into mortgage lending followed a corporate layoff and a life-changing health battle, including surviving End-Stage Kidney Failure and receiving a transplant. That journey deepened her faith and strengthened her purpose: to educate, uplift, and walk alongside families as they build generational wealth through real estate.

As the founder of Somos Latino Mortgage, Sendy leads with heart and vision, offering a wide range of mortgage products—from traditional loans to ITIN and first-time buyer programs—while providing exceptional support, quick closings, and culturally-relevant financial guidance. Her goal is not only to close loans but to create homeowners who are financially confident and future-ready.

Sendy is also a passionate speaker, mentor, and community advocate, currently developing a faith-based curriculum to equip young people with biblical wisdom and practical tools to overcome life’s challenges. Whether she’s helping a family purchase their first home or coaching entrepreneurs on financial strategies, Sendy’s mission is clear: To educate, equip, and empower her community—one family at a time.
